Richard and Anna tied the knot on Saturday at the Watermark Community Church in Dallas. It is such a gorgeous church for a wedding and perfect for photography with the large windows that let in all this pretty light. I just LOVED it!!!! Her wedding colors of yellows and greens made for a fun summer wedding and I just love those two colors together.
Richard and Anna met about a year ago while they went out to lunch after church. They ended up talking and before long they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. And if you met these two, you can instantly see how perfect they are for each other. I loved seeing how excited Richard’s mom and sister were to have Anna join their family, as Anna is the sweetest, kindest person and they just adore her.
Anna has the most amazing bridesmaids who made this scrapbook for her of the fun times they have had. What I find really cool is Anna and her 4 bridesmaids are all teachers and all but one went to UNT. So I’m sure the scrapbook brought back lots of good memories for Anna and was such a sweet gift for Anna.
And it did bring tears to her eyes.
Simply stunning!!!!
Such a fun group, I can imagine its non-stop laughs when they all get together.
The groomsmen on the left cracks me up. He totally went for it and committed to the jump.
This was such a sweet moment. Anna’s dad was seeing her for the first time, right before he walked her down the aisle. He didn’t want to see her until that moment. He didn’t even look at her bridal pictures (which you can click here to see)
I thought this was so special, they did a stuffed animal toss for the kids. And actually the one who caught it was so sweet and gave it to the little ones to play with.
These groomsmen had me rolling. They did the Stinky Leg (I believe that’s the name) dance and I had never heard of it but OMG its hilarious. The bridesmaids even joined them on the dance floor.
Congrats Richard and Anna!!!!!!! Thank you so much for entrusting me as your wedding photographer and capturing the special moments on your big day.
I want to thank Humza Yasin for helping me, you ROCK!!!!. Karey is still on maternity leave but will be back to photographing weddings with me in October.
LaceyBeautiful dress! I love the cathedral veil.
New Bern PhotographerAwesome Pictures! The church is incredible.
LauraThat stuffed animal toss is SUCH a cute idea! I always thought kids were the only ones who liked that stuff anyway – very clever way to include them. Looks like everyone had fun!
