So wedding season in Dallas is pretty much here now and things are kicking into high gear. We do have a low season at the beginning of the year and so what do Dallas wedding photographers do during the low season. Well ask a former couple to come up with a creative shoot idea in downtown Dallas of course 🙂 Huge THANK YOU to Ross and Melissa who were my oh so wonderful models for this shoot. We ran all around Downtown Dallas photographing Melissa and Ross in their wedding attire. I loved capturing some really candid moments and really use shadows and highlights to create some wonderful wedding art pieces. I just LOVE how these all turned out and these two are so sweet for going along with my craziness haha. I really really love Melissa’s tea-length wedding dress paired with her polka dotted shoes and birdcage veil. Such a fun, retro vibe!!!!!! It’s really awesome too that they will have these works of art to hang in their home.
Also I want to wish them a very Happy 2nd Wedding Anniversary!!!!!!!!
Ross PulliamThese came out fantastic! It was a really fun photo shoot and I’m glad my wife was able to sign us up for it. Let us know if you get any other ideas you need to experiment with!
Thanks for the anniversary nod, it’s hard to believe it has already been 2 years!
Robert Welch | New Orleans Wedding PhotographerWhat a wonderful idea for a 2nd Wedding Anniversary, nicely done. The juxtaposition between the married couple dressed up in their wedding attire surrounded by the modern city hustle & bustle is an interesting project. I think it’s a nice concept to reflect the inner world of two people who have their own personal space with each other, in the context of the bigger, impersonal world we live in. These photos nicely show in an artistic way how we live this dual life between the romanticized world of weddings and nuptial bliss, and the cold, hard world of urban life.
