On Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Matt and Emily’s small wedding (elopement) at the Fort Worth Japanese Garden. It was a perfect day and the weather was beautiful for this winter wedding. I met up with Emily at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel as she was getting ready. The room was beautiful and overlooked downtown Fort Worth, which was an amazing view that I loved using for photos. Emilee wore a stunning 50’s style retro wedding dress that was perfect for her and her fun personality.
I loved the intimate feel to Matt and Emilee’s ceremony and it was full of so much love. I think it is so special that only immediate family was there to witness their marriage. We used the beautiful garden for a few photos and loved the pond and the reflections created with it. We then headed back over to The Worthington to get Emilee and Matt’s fur kid to take photos around Sundance Square. The light was perfect and we got so many great portraits. They ended the night having a small dinner reception and it was a really the perfect wedding day!!
Congrats Emilee and Matt and such an honor to photograph your wedding day!!!
