Brandon and Emily wed in a beautiful summer wedding at Chapel Ana Villa in north Dallas. The day was full of lots of laughs and love and was perfect.

Of course the day wouldn’t have been possible without the proposal. So to share a little bit about Emily and Brandon, here is their sweet proposal story in their words.

“Brandon knew he was ready to make the commitment of a lifetime, so he began the preparations for the perfect proposal! First , he recruited Emily’s mother and sister to assist him in shopping for the perfect engagement ring.  It has been said that as soon as he saw the ring, it was love at first sight. Brandon nervously made the traditional proposal request to Emily’s father, who was , thankfully , very supportive.

To put the secretive plan into action, Brandon masked the proposal event with Emily’s 26th Birthday celebration. He searched for the perfect upscale restaurant, but Emily requested that her birthday celebration take place at a more casual bar and grill that had previously been a preferred brunch spot. Brandon agreed, wanting to avoid suspicion and realizing the bar and grill held sentiment also. The couple was joined by friends and family on the patio for dinner and drinks on October 3rd, 2014.

Brandon stole Emily away and headed to a quiet spot to make his proposal. After a sweet speech, Brandon got down on one knee and asked Emily to spend the rest of her life with him . Emily’s reaction was shock and surprise as she joyfully said YES! The two lovebirds made it back to the patio of family and friends and shared their big announcement ! The love and support was unimaginable from not only their family and friends, but from many of the restaurant guest and staff as well. It was definitely a night they will both always remember.”
