Jeff and Michelle tied the knot on Saturday in a sweet afternoon wedding ceremony at the Chapel at Chestnut Square in McKinney. The ceremony was officiated by Michelle’s dad who is a preacher. He gracefully walked her down the aisle and then took his place on the altar after he gave her away to be married. It was so sweet. I also loved that they Jeff and Michelle wrote their own vows as it makes the ceremony more personal and meaningful. Following the ceremony everyone grabbed a handfull of rose petals and gathered around the entrance of the chapel so they could shower Michelle and Jeff with flowers as they came out of the chapel. Most of the time we photograph exits at the end of the wedding reception so it was very cool for us to photograph an exit after the ceremony. The colorful petals really made for some beautiful wedding photographs and memories. Then everyone headed over to the Grand Hotel for the wedding reception where they enjoyed a mac n cheese bar (yummmmmm) and passed Hors d’oeuvres. Michelle and Jeff gracefully mingled with their guest while Joel Cross strummed the guitar. It was such a sweet wedding and a great way to start our 2013 weddings 🙂
Big Congrats to Jeff and Michelle!!!!!! We hope you are relaxing and soaking in the sun 🙂
