Jennifer and Phillip had the sweetest wedding at Joe Pool Lake and I really loved how they incorporated sunflowers into their decor. They kept it simple and just wanted to exchange their vows in front of those closest to them and dance like crazy!!! Jennifer and Phillip met at work, she is a nurse and he works as a paramedic. Isn’t that sweet!!!!

It was such a beautiful wedding despite the rain – which is good luck on your wedding day, right. Rachel with Rachel Events was a miracle worker and pulled the wedding together under a pavilion. They even made sure there was hot chocolate for everyone so they could stay as warm as possible. Everything looked so beautiful and I actually loved how the rain created reflections on the cement so it made for super pretty wedding pictures. And Jennifer is one of those amazing people that took it all in stride and I’m sure they will look back at their wedding ceremony and laugh at the unpredictable weather in Texas. It’s one of those stories that will get passed down and looked at more fondly with each year. And it certainly didn’t stop Jennifer from dancing the night away.  She even extended her reception so she could continue having fun with all of her family and friends.

I love how Jennifer is in such good spirits and is smiling 🙂 I love capturing a wedding planner hard at work and Rachel was making sure that Jennifer’s dress didn’t get wet. I was getting pictures pulled for this blog post and posted this one on Facebook and Jennifer commented and it totally made my day. I love knowing a bride is thrilled with her photos. Here is what she said, “Shauna, I just started crying when I saw this. So beautiful! Thank you for this picture!” It makes it extra special coming from Jennifer knowing that the photos from her day will trump the stress the rain brought. Jennifer and her Dad were so cute during their dance and were having a blast!!!! I just love that!!!! And then they danced and danced and danced!!!!!
