One of my favorite things about Kelly and John’s wedding day at the Hilton DFW Lakes Hotel was all the sweet touching moments and as their wedding photographer getting to capture those. From Grandma playing cards with the flower girl, the ring bearer looking bored as all the girls run around getting dolled up, to Kelly asking for her Step-Father only to see him and burst into tears of happiness. It’s these little moments that mean so much when captured forever in a picture. You can go back and laugh, and cry all over again. You can see missed moments that you didn’t get to catch as a bride because you were worried about steaming the wrinkles out of your bridal gown.
It is also the finishing touches of your bridesmaid pinning your sorority pin inside your dress and you doing the same for her. Also capturing the sparkly in the bride’s eye as she stares so lovingly into her soon to be husbands’s eyes and the sigh of relief and release of stress as you walk back down the aisle knowing you two have pledged your life’s together. These are life’s little moments that happen at a wedding; capturing moments like this is why I so enjoy photographing weddings like John and Kelly’s wedding.

This was my first time capturing a traditional Czech wedding dance and man this was SOOOOO Fun!!!!!! Everyone was laughing and having a blast!!!!!
