So I almost never am in front of the camera but realized my husband and I barely have any photos together. I got the bright idea to get all dolled up in vintage inspired attire and take some photos of my husband and I. I decided it was a good idea to take these photos after we had sleet because it would give a more desolate, noir film to the images. I knew it would be cold and I knew my husband hates the cold but we decided we would brave the cold. I just knew it would be so cool and I would get tons of awesome shots of us. Then we arrived at downtown Allen after sliding through the streets and I started setting up shots. I would have to jump back into the car after a few minutes because it was so cold, my fingers went numb and I could not even feel the shutter button on my camera. And let me say, trying to take self-portraits, when you are freezing your butt off, is not the easiest of tasks. I would set my camera’s 10 second timer, then run with heels on to hit my mark before the shutter clicked. Oh and I also had to make sure I had the look I wanted from both of us. So I didn’t take all the amazing photos I had in my but I do really love the ones we did get. So here are the photos of my husband and me 🙂
I really love this one of the two of us!!!! My husband looks so handsome (yes I’m totally biased).
It would have been ideal to have a vintage car but we made do with my husband’s car.
My husband took this one of me.
