It’s hard to think that its been 7 years since I graduated college, time as just flown by. I think back of the time I had in college, and I can say without a doubt that I had a blast!!!! There are times that I really do miss being in college. It was a time that I really just focused on my photography. I shot entirely with film then, which saddens me to say I haven’t shot any film since 2006. I miss the darkroom, I miss seeing the image appear before my eyes, I miss being able to actually seeing my images printed on paper. I also miss how close I was to my fellow photography majors. I loved how we turned to each other for ideas, we pushed each other to be better. I am so grateful for that time in my life and I miss these girls dearly and I owe them so much. I truly don’t think I would be where I am today without them. So a HUGE THANK YOU to Diane, Elizabeth, Danielle, Angelita, Katie, Kelly, Christine, Julie, and Karey (of course); I’m pretty sure I’m missing someone and so sorry if I have. You girls are amazing!!!! Then of course there are the other art majors (ie non-photography) majors I own a great deal too and there are so many of you that I don’t even know where to start. I loved being a part of the art community at Texas Woman’s University. I was only there for a couple of years but that time will stay with me for a lifetime.
With all of this said, I wanted to share some photographs I took in 2003/2004 time frame. And a special thanks to Andrea who was my muse for these. The series is titled Lost In a Dream.
LauraHow fun! Love the colors in the first picture!
