This year has been incredible and I have been blessed in soooo many ways and struggled in other ways. But through all of the ups and downs of this year, I know I have the best husband, family and friends. I love you all dearly and you are such a source of fun and stability in this crazy life. I say friends but they are really more like my family and so when your husband has to work on Thanksgiving, and you have 2 weddings this weekend and can’t make it up to Kansas to spent the holiday with your parents and the rest of your family, your family of friends are there to take you in. And yep I brought my camera to the Thanksgiving festivities. I’m such a firm believer in capturing those moments you will cherish and that includes the holidays like Thanksgiving when families get together. I love how fun and silly Dean and Jessica’s kids are and they make for some super cute moments from photo bombing a picture, to stuffing their face with chocolate pie, to quietly sitting there with their iPad enthralled with the game they are playing. All of them are memories that should be documented and remembered. You can look back at photos like this and remember them fondly. And of course the yummy yummy food!!!! How could I forget that, as stuffing and turkey with cranberry sauce is my absolute favorite. So I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving too and stuffed yourself silly and then enjoyed a long nap.
Hahahaha, looking for scraps because some turkey had to have fallen on the floor, right ;)?
The best thing is being able to capture laughter like this, sooooo priceless!!!!
LOVE these two!!!!!! Dean and Jessica are the best and this picture is just adorable!!
He didn’t actually get the pie but this was just too funny and had to end this blog post on the photo above because it totally represents Thanksgiving for all of us right?
