Let me start off saying, this bridal shoot idea came to me in a dream about a year ago. The five girls in these photos have been friends since high school/middle school. They have stood by each other and been bridesmaids in each other’s weddings. Chelsea was the first to get married in 2011 and I had so much fun photographing her wedding. Over the course of the last couple of years, I have had the chance to photograph Sarah, Raquel and last but not least Meredith’s wedding.  Then a few months ago, I photographed bridals for Jennifer (she is the one with the horse bridal photos). So back to this dream. I saw all of them in a nature setting with lots of trees and them back in their wedding dresses for a friendship shoot. The execution took about a year just trying to coordinate schedules between all of them and myself. Some have moved for work, one had a baby and just general life stuff. But I was determined to make it happen. These ladies are super special and really a real life Sex and the City group. They simply are amazing!!! I’m so blessed to know them and to have been their wedding photographer. All of them have so much fun together and are wonderful friends to each other. And they are just the nicest people you will ever meet. Seriously!!!

We met up at Prairie Creek Park in Richardson this past Sunday and Kristen with Haute Floral donated the flower wreaths they are wearing. It was a beautiful day and I loved the gorgeous light we had for this shoot. I wanted the shoot to have a very ethereal and soft feel with the use of natural light. I edited the photos a little different than what I normally do. I feel though it really adds to the dreamy feel I wanted for the photos.

Thank you so much Raquel, Chelsea, Jennifer, Sarah, and Meredith for being the awesome ladies you are and getting back into your wedding dresses so I can bring this idea to life!!!
