This year’s contest garnered the most votes Ever!!!! We had over 700 votes!!!! That means 700 cans of food will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank, so thank you for all your support and this will help feed a lot of people!!! I just don’t have any clue how I’m going to buy and transport this many cans, it looks like several trips will be in order, hahahahaha.

If you looked at the votes, they centered around 2 photos, #2 and #22. What you don’t know about the brides in these two photos, is they are both friends. And not just casual friends, but the bonded for life friends. They were bridesmaids in each other’s wedding. They didn’t vote for themselves or even ask for votes, their families saw this and got everyone they knew to vote. I believe in fun competition and not truly putting two friends against each other but they just both had weddings in the same year. They are both stunning women inside and out and are the epitome of true friendship. These two went to high school together, and one went on to West Point and served our country in Afghanistan, along with her husband, and the other is a veterinarian and her husband is a pediatrician. They both felt the need to serve others and the same can be said for their spouses. So in that spirit (and the fact I’m not counting 700 votes), both photos are winners!!!!! Both of these lovely couples will get the 20×30 canvas print. So Sara & Blake and Raquel & Edwin, send me the photo you want to be printed :).  Congrats ladies and we were so pleased and honored to photograph your beautiful weddings!!!!
