I recently met up with Mark and Christie at Erwin Park in McKinney for their engagement and family photos. I love that they really wanted to include Mark’s daughter in the photos, she is super adorable and sweet!! We started off using a bench that Mark made and later when they were sitting on the bench, he proposed to Christi. So of course we had to then take engagement photos of them sitting on the bench. Can I admit too, that I kinda really want a bench like that for my house.

We had so much fun with them just dancing in the fields and really just capturing wonderful candid moments between them. I love getting to capture the real moments and connection between people. So when I learned that Mark and his daughter have very few photos together, I felt so honored that I could provide this gift to them. I know they will all treasure these photos. What is really cool too is Christi has a bunch of empty frames around their house and now she can fill them with these and that warms my heart!!! It is such a great reminder of how important photos are and is the reason I love being a photographer.
