So I know I’m totally doing things backwards as I blogged Jeff and Michelle’s wedding last month and now I’m blogging their engagement session at White Rock and Lee Park in Dallas. Things are finally slowly down a bit where I can blog more and will be doing so Tuesdays and Thursdays every week so you can know when to come back to our blog to see new posts, YAY 🙂 We do love our wedding filled months thought. Oh and in case you missed Jeff and Michelle’s wedding click here .
We actually did Jeff and Michelle’s engagements over 2 days because the first day we met was soooo cold that poor Michelle had goosebumps and a red nose. Also the strong winds coming from White Rock made it really hard not to feel completely frozen. Our second day was perfect, blue skies, sun shining and a warm 70 outside. We had fun both days with Jeff serenading Michelle, they played a bit of football and some cuddling. One of my favorite things about White Rock is that it can look so different depending on when you go and they weather that day and the vantage point you are at. Some days you could swear its the Caribbean and other days its so Dallas. It most certainly keeps me on my toes. But I love places you can go to a million times and constantly see something new.
So I hope you enjoy taking a break from a minute from work to enjoy looking at Jeff and Michelle’s engagements 🙂
It’s so fun when couple’s are themselves during their sessions and I can capture their personalities. It’s what I really love about being a wedding photographer. Oh and I have to make note of the spiral Michelle had throwing the football. Ok I’m totally acting like I have a clue what I am talking about when I clearly no almost nothing about football. I do know the ball is supposed to have spin when you throw it, I can never seem to get that though the few times my husband as tried to teach me 🙂
I don’t think I could ever tire of taking pictures on docks, I seriously love it!!!!!
This is one of my favorite images because we actually had a Fall this year in Dallas and the trees turned a vibrant red. It’s a little reminiscent of the tree changes in the North.
I just love how the reflections in the water look.
