In an effort to save a few bucks, I decided that instead of heading over to the nearest Starbucks to get a tall, non-fat , no whip, Mocha Frappuccino that I would just make my own. Ummm can I just say that it was a complete and utter failure. I put way to much liquid and ice into my blender so my ever so wonderful creation ended up all over the counter and dripping down to the floor. That was my first mistake. If I worked for Starbucks, I would so be fired. Not only did I make a not so good drink but I made the biggest mess in my kitchen. 2nd mistake was using coffee instead of espresso, so it was super weak. Third I didn’t add any sugar so it was pretty gross when I took my first drink. . When my husband got home and I told him what I did, he just looked at me and shook his head and walked away. He was relived though to see I had cleaned up my mess 🙂 I should probably Google a recipe for frappuccinos if I try this again.

LaceyDid you have happy puppies to help clean your mess? 🙂
adminNope not this time, they can be spazzy enough so didn’t want them to have caffeine
LauraAww! Pioneer woman has a great recipe for them. She just has them iced, but I’m sure you could blend them! They’re delicious. 🙂

Sheryl PhillipsI have tried myself, and can never get it quite right. They have a “special” mocha syrup mix though, so that must be the secret!
