Today is Deena and Mark’s wedding day.  They will be getting married and pledging their lives together in just a few short hours.  I can’t wait to capture all the laughter, and tears as they prepare to say I Do.  But before I head out to do that, I wanted to share their super cute engagement pictures.  We met up at The Tribute in the Colony, where their wedding will take place.  The weather didn’t quite cooperate with us so we met up a few days later at the Rough Rider’s Stadium in Frisco to finish their session.  We had beautiful weather that day.  These have to be some of my favorite engagements as they were a blast to take and we laughed through the whole session.

I also love how Mark and Deena met so I wanted to share both of their versions of the night they met 😉

Deena’s story: I met Mark on a business trip to Texas while I was living in North Carolina.  I did not think I would see him again since we lived so far from one another.  Something told me to give him my number, he texted me the next day and the rest is history.  He moved to Connecticut with me in 2010 and we made the decision to move back to Texas after realizing we were not suited for the very cold and long winters.

Mark’s story:  I’m sure glad my friends and I decided to go to Red River that night I met Deena.  My eyes locked in on her when we walked in and I didn’t see her the rest of the night.  As we were getting to leave, I saw her standing alone by the bar while her friend’s were dancing.  I asked how she was doing and she asked me for a stick of gum!  We talked for 5 minutes and the rest is history!
