Last week I was so honored to learn this image earned a Fearless Photography Award. Over 15,000 images were submitted for Collection 28 and only 184 photos were given the Fearless Award. It is a huge honor and only the best wedding photographs are selected. This image was taken in July in Dallas after the bridesmaids prayed over the bride. She had tears of joy as she was about to walk down the aisle to marry the man she loves. Her mom was by her side and was wiping away some of her tears. It was the sweetest moment!!!
Not only did this win a Fearless Award, but Huffington Post did an article based on this latest collection, titled “25 Award-Winning Wedding Photos You Just Have To See“. This image was included in that article. I had no idea this image was included until I read the article after seeing it linked to on Facebook. I really was blown away to see my image included.
I truly love being a part of their Fearless Photography community and all that they stand for. I must admit, that I push myself harder and harder each wedding and session because of the work I see win Fearless Awards. The images are the best of the best wedding photographs out there; just go to their page by clicking here and check out the winning collections. You will not see a more amazing collection of wedding photography. I strive every quarter to create images that hopefully will receive a Fearless Award. I have been lucky enough to receive 4 so far. I really urge you to check out Fearless Photographers and to see the amazing images being created all around the world. I really think you will be amazed at all of these wedding photographers that create images that aren’t like your parent’s wedding photographs.

KatFourWhat an amazing moment. Just seeing this makes me emotional. It truly is beautiful and vulnerable and perfect. And you captured this perfectly. Congrats, feature is well deserved. This bride is going to look back on this in a few years and be so moved and grateful to have such a stunning image.
