Sean and Shari were married a year ago in Michigan and recently moved to Dallas. They really did start a new chapter in their lives and wanted to celebrate all the changes from their first year of marriage. So they figured what better way to celebrate then with updated portraits together here in Dallas, the city they now call home.
Another cool thing about celebrating your one year wedding anniversary with photographs, is that the photos are printed on paper. Well if you are like me, you follow the traditional wedding anniversary gifts and paper is the gift for one year of marriage. So by giving photos printed to your spouse, you are following the traditional anniversary gift for one year. Pretty cool huh!!!!
We met up for a sunrise session and we were greeted with some storm clouds and I decided to make it work to our advantage. They can make some really cool shots and right before sunrise they have this really pretty blue. It turns portraits into a work of art, I think.
The one below is my favorite!!!! I just love how artistic this one is and I can see this blown up huge in their place as a work of art that features them.
I love how much fun they had with these photos and the love they share when they look at one another.
After leaving White Rock Lake, we headed to the Arts District for some really fun, artsy photos and the sun joined us.
I love playing with reflections and the extra interest they had to a photograph.
We ended with them being silly and laughing together. Truly love couples being silly together because those that laugh together, stay together.
I hope you have a wonderful day of celebrating your first wedding anniversary Sean and Shari in two days!!! Such an honor to capture your love!!!
