I LOVE Brandon and Megan’s engagement session in Mckinney and I had planned on sharing these last week. Friday was my birthday and festivities kinda took over; after all you only turn 32 once, right :).
Megan and I went to high school together in Allen but that’s not how she found me online. She had been a fan and follower of K & S Photography for some time and loved looking at our photos. Megan realized she knew me and we connected on Facebook. She let me know Brandon proposed and I’ve helped her find her wedding venue and other wedding vendors; I really love when I get to refer out great people. She and Brandon are getting married at the Grand Hotel/Rick’s Chophouse in McKinney, seriously I love Rick’s and the staff is sooooo amazing and helpful. Plus it’s just a gorgeous space and I can’t wait to show off their wedding especially after their amazing engagement photos.
We started off in downtown McKinney with some gelato from Paciugo and hit up some the alley ways and the Bookstore there. We chilled out just a bit and rehydrated before heading over to the disc golf course at Towne Lake in McKinney. My husband and I had walked this area after my uncle came down for a disc golf tournament and the light OMG the light was amazing. I knew I had to come take engagements or bridals or something here. So when Megan and I were discussing the locations for her and Brandon’s session, I suggested it. It’s really awesome when my couple’s trust me as their photographer and let me do my thing because they turned out to be Megan’s favorite photos. So I will stop talking and let you enjoy all of their pretty engagement photos :).
The light here was just beyond amazing!!!!!
I love it when couples are themselves and have fun with it.
