I’m a little behind in blogging and finally getting the chance after a crazy busy spring and summer that was fully of weddings. I’m super excited to share these photos because it is my first same sex proposal. I have been photographing lgbtq weddings for the last 4-5 years, but had never had the opportunity to photograph a proposal. I was super excited to see Joel propose to Brad at Klyde Warren Park and brought my husband with me so he could capture a video of the proposal on my phone for them. It was so sweet and Brad was totally surprised by the proposal. The emotional high after getting engaged is so infectious and makes for the perfect time to take portraits together. We had fun walking the streets around the park and utilizing the urban setting. Hey they even grabbed some ice cream from one of the street vendors. It really was much needed as it was July and so humid out that any way to cool down was a good thing. Big congrats to Brad and Joel on their engagement!!! Now the fun wedding planning can begin.
