I’m so excited that Lindsay and Trip’s Wedding at Avanti Fountain Place in Dallas kicked off our Fall Wedding Season. First of all, Avanti is one of my absolute favorite spots in Downtown Dallas. It’s so peaceful and it just this amazing oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of downtown Dallas. And second, ummm its beyond GORGEOUS!!! So when I first met Lindsay and Trip, and saw what amazing people they are, I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding. We did have some drama on their wedding day with the rain because at one point it was coming down in sheets. The rain had been predicted to last until Sunday morning. But all of us prayed and crossed our fingers the rain would stop. Then the clouds parted 10 minutes before Lindsay was set to walk down the aisle to marry Trip and the sun started glistening through the trees. I could see how happy and relieved Lindsay was as she practiced walking down the aisle with her dad. These two really balance each other out and Trip makes Lindsay laugh and not just laugh but the laugh with all you have. I’m sure neither thought when they attended Law School at Vanderbilt University, that they would meet their future spouse. But fate brought these two together and in Lindsay’s vows she says God brought her Trip and she knows that because he is more perfect for her than she could have ever dreamed. And you could see the love between them as they danced and how the whole world melted away when they looked into each other’s eyes. Yep even when they kicked off their Sunday shoes and danced to Footloose, you could see it.
