On September 1st I had the pleasure of photographing Justin and Lauren’s wedding at Edison’s in Dallas.  One thing that really stands out is the love they have for their daughter.  They really made her feel a part of the ceremony and the entire day.  She was the cutest flower girl too.  She made me laugh and how excited she was to get her hair done for mommy’s big day.   Everything just felt so family oriented and about the love Justin and Lauren have for each other.

Lauren’s wedding day prep was at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas.  I loved the cute robe she wore that had bride on the back of it and of course had to capture that as she overlooked the Dallas skyline.

I just adore this image and how the veil gives it this soft airy feel as Lauren’s necklace is put on.

Lauren and Justin decided on the first look for their wedding and so glad they did.  And Lauren did tear up as she saw her handsome groom as she told me she would.

So sweet!!!!! I love all the range of emotions that a first look at a wedding brings.

Another great thing about first looks is then you can get all the family pictures done.  I normally don’t blog these but I just am in love with these 2 for the emotion here.  So heartfelt.

And then we had a super fun bridal party and captured a ton of photos.

I insisted on using this car in the photos.   I mean its a classic, how can you not!!!!

These ladies cracked me up so much with their crazy Bridemaids Poster shot.  They really hammed it up so much that I started laughing like crazy from behind the camera.

Then we took a breather before the ceremony began.

I love these fun, candid shots of the Justin and Lauren with their daughter.  There is just so much love and happiness capture here.

When I met with Lauren to discuss her wedding photography needs, her one must was rooftop shots at Edison’s because it overlooked the Dallas skyline.  It was 107 degrees that day and didn’t want to risk her sweating her make-up off before the ceremony.  So we opted for during cocktail hour and it was gorgeous as the sun was setting.

I just love first dances 🙂

They then had a family dance so their daughter was included 🙂

Then the crazy party started!

I swear dancing photos and people just letting loose and having fun are some of my favorites photographs to take as a wedding photographer.  Austin with i-Entertainment did was a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor.

Congratulations Justin and Lauren!!!!! It was such an honor being your wedding photographer and capturing all the special memories for you!!!!
