Sam and Michelle's Wedding at Warwick Melrose Hotel in Dallas

Weddings are about the joy that comes from two families coming together to celebrate love and Sam and Michelle’s wedding at the Dallas Melrose Hotel embodied that sentiment. These two are so sweet and really care deeply for their loved ones and wanted a fun wedding where everyone had the best time. I want to start off sharing a little bit about Michelle and Sam, since that is what is most important, their relationship with one another. How it all started in their own words.

“Sam and Michelle met on a rainy day in May 2014 in Chicago, IL. On their first official date, Sam asked Michelle to meet him under the Diversey train stop. They ate at Michelle’s favorite burger restaurant and have been together ever since.

Almost three years later, on March 25th, 2017 (Sam’s Birthday!), Sam got down on one knee under the train stop where they met for their first date. After a quiet celebratory lunch (again at Michelle’s favorite burger joint), they went home to celebrate with many of their wonderful Chicago friends at an engagement/birthday/going away party.

Over the past four years, Sam and Michelle have traveled to different countries, moved cross-country to sunny Dallas, adopted a puppy, and bought at house. They look forward to many future adventures together as a married couple.”

Their ceremony was at The Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Gaudalupe in downtown Dallas. After the Catholic ceremony, Sam and Michelle, their wedding party, and family hopped on a Trolly and headed to the Dallas Arts District for some more creative formal photos. Once we finished photos, everyone headed to the Melrose Hotel to dance the night away and eat cake. It was the perfect wedding day for Sam and Michelle.
