Jeff and Angel were married in a beautiful Catholic ceremony at St. Jude’s in Allen with their fun wedding reception at Stonebridge Country Club in McKinney

These two are so sweet together and their loved ones mean the world to them. I think it is very apparent when you hear their proposal story. Plus it is a way more interesting to hear a little bit about these two wonderful people from their own words.

“February 28th 2015 in Oklahoma and snow! I absolutely love the snow and always wanted a winter proposal. To my knowledge, the day included a mini spa day with my mom, time with Amber and Rachel, and date night/late Valentines date with Jeff. After my spa day with my mom I hung out with Rachel and Amber at my place. When it came time to go meet Jeff on campus, he said he was running late, so I rode with Amber and Rachel so that Rachel could “turn in a Russian paper.” We pull up to campus which was a ghost town and go up to a floor I didn’t even know existed in the student Union. As we get off the elevator and I question why her paper had to be dropped there, one of our mutual friends opens this door leading to a very creepy stairway. Honestly walking up with the cob webs and creepy paintings there was a split second I thought my friends were planning to either kill me, or at least have some sort of intervention. At each set of stairs, another friend met us at the doorway. I began to grab Amber’s hand and freak out, because I had a feeling what was about to happen. By the time we got to the top floor, I knew; my entire family was there along with Jeff’s and he always knew I wanted family to see the proposal. I was beaming from ear to ear, but also felt like I was going to be sick from all my nerves. My friends took my coat, which we soon realized was a horrible idea because it was snowing, and I climbed a very sketchy ladder with giant heels, also a bad idea with my streak of hurting myself! All of these factors added to a hilarious story which basically describes Jeff and I’s relationship. I get to the roof of the OU clock tower and there is Jeff in a suit, snow falling down on us like a movie scene, and his sister-in-law Tracy hidden behind a generator taking pictures! This was the perfect set-up. I walk to Jeff freaking out at the same time, and he begins his proposal. The poor guy was so nervous he couldn’t remember what he practiced, and the one thing he said that I will never forget is, “I’m sorry, I’m so nervous, I have never done this before,” and I follow that up with, “Well I hope not!” After we laughed at what he just said, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I thought for quite a while… (just kidding) I said YES before he could even finish asking me! 😀 He gave me a bouquet of flowers and we went back down the ladder, ever so carefully. I was still a bit in shock and just so unbelievably happy.

After we took pictures around campus, Jeff arranged to have an Engagement dinner with the whole family. As we were eating and enjoying ourselves, I proceeded to attempt to make a “thank you” speech for everyone coming out for the occasion, but instead I fell over a chair and into a pile of chairs leaving a beautiful bruise on my back to help me remember the day! Later that evening our friends threw us the best engagement party and it was more than I could have ever asked for.

Jeff did everything, he got both of our families together, he had the snowfall, the rooftop, the hidden photographer, the engagement dinner, the hilarious proposal speech; it was all an absolute dream come true. Everything Jeff did was perfect, and I honestly wonder how I got so lucky to have him, God truly made him perfectly for me, and I cannot wait to see what our life together has in store for us!”
