Karey and I have been doing wedding photography for a few years now.  For some reason, everytime we are photographing the getting ready part, girls get their hair done first.  My first questions is why?  Doesn’t it make sense to get your make-up done first?  Stop and think about it for a second.  If you get your hair done first, all the pictures have you in them without make-up.  Come on ladies, we hate (and I do mean hate) being photographed with no make-up on.  So why then do this for your wedding.  I suggest getting your make-up done first and then your hair.  That way when I am snapping away as your hair is getting done, your make-up is on and you look gorgeous.  It makes for much better photos that you will love. 

 Kelly of Haute Facade in Dallas did the make-up first at last weekend’s wedding.  It was kinda like a doh moment.  I started thinking why do the girls get their hair done first.  It doesn’t make any sense.  So ladies let’s change that and start with make-up and finish with hair.  It’s so much better.
