We know one of the most important parts of a wedding or any event is having FUN!!  One of the best ways to ensure that you will have an amazing time at your wedding along with all of your guests is to get a really awesome DJ.  I have seen some not so great ones and some off the hook ones.  And I have to say the DJ’s at i-Entertainment are some of the best in the industry.  They are true professionals and they know their stuff.  I promise you that you can’t go wrong with one of these guys.  So we are doing are first vendor spotlight on i-Entertainment.  Thank you Cameron (pictured above) for talking with me.

• How did you come up with the name i-Entertainment?  To be honest – I’m trying to ride the trend of  iPods / iPhones / iPads etc.  I needed something simple that says ‘entertainment’ and was simple to remember.  You get into the “Amazing DJ Company’, ‘Awesome Entertainment’, and Remarkable Productions’ and they all start to sound the same after a while.  This is hopefully different and easy to remember.
• When did you start djing?  The late 90’s in Corpus Christi while I was in college.
• Why do you love being a DJ?  Every event is different.  It’s a different venue for a different client with a different vision with different guests.  There’s something to be said for creating energy and connecting people.  
   
• What services does i-Entertainment provide?  We really want to put the ‘i’ into fun.  We want our guests to wake up the morning after the event and say “I had so much fun last night!”  We do that – we’ve done what we set out to accomplish.
  
• You always seem to have everyone dancing at wedding receptions. How do you do it?  It about connectivity.  You have to remember that guests are there for the bride.  The bride will spend maybe a minute or two with each guest throughout the night.  But we have to create the illusion that the guests are spending real quality time with the bride.  Everything you do – from the way you handle the grand entrance, to interactive touches during dinner, to how you involve the guests in toasting / cake cutting / parent dances helps to create that connectivity.  If you do your job right – you will have a full dance floor when you want one. 
  
• What do you feel makes i-Entertainment unique?  It really is about our clients.  It’s about connecting the client to the right entertainer.  I’m not always the best fit for every client.  But neither is Damany.  Or Jason.  Or J.J.  But between all of us – one of us will be the right fit.  It’s us wanting to take time, meet and work with our clients, that allows us to better serve them.  We want them to have a memorable story book / movie moment wedding reception.  We want that as much as they do.  It’s us stopping and caring about them that puts us a step above our peers.  Well . . . that’s what we like to think about our selfs.
