James and Kaci’s Outdoor Vintage in Denton

I just loved photographing Kaci and James’ wedding this past weekend at the Milestone in Denton. It was so sweet with all the details and you could tell how much time and effort Kaci and her mom had put into the wedding. After over 18 months of planning I’m sure they were glad the big day was here. We were very lucky that Texas this year hasn’t gotten as hot as it normally does. By May we usually have 95+ degree weather. This year we it’s not supposed to arrive until next week. So their outdoor ceremony was quite nice and I loved the lace used on the awning that Kaci’s dad had built. The day went quite smoothly and I know that is in part to Kaci and the folks at the Milestone for doing such a great job coordinating everything. The newlywed game is always so fun and the guests really enjoy it. I love hearing the bursts of laughter.

There is nothing better the a smile like this dancing with your husband on your wedding day. Priceless!!!!

The speeches given by the couple’s closest friends is always so emotional and yep I still tear up every time.

The dancing and capturing people just having fun is a total blast to me. I really get a high just seeing people laughing and having a good time. It’s so infectious.
