Alexander and Rachel wed on August 20th at the Dallas Mormon Temple with their wedding reception at the Surrey House in McKinney. I wasn’t allowed in the Chapel to take photos but was there waiting when they exited. There were lots of hugs and happy tears. I loved getting to capture the excitement after the ceremony when everyone is so happy for the newlyweds. Even the children were happy and gave Rachel and Alexander the biggest hugs, it was so sweet!!!
We then headed over to the front of the Temple to get some family and bridal party photos. I normally do not show a lot of formals because our main focus with our wedding photography is candid moments. Even in the formals, there are in between candid moments to catch. I’m posting just a few of my favorites.
We then went around the temple taking a few portraits and finished up portraits of Alexander and Rachel at the Surrey House.

The photo below cracked me up. This boy sat on the toilet eating his food while some of the other little ones watched and just hung out with him. It cracked me up when I saw it so had to take a quick photo hahaha.
