I  know I ended last week’s blog posting on a pretty sad note, it was a very tough week for me and I thank you all for keeping me (and my family) in your thoughts and prayers.

With that said, I wanted to start off this week on a happy note and what better than seeing a wonderful couple’s engagement photos. Travis and Kristen are amazing together and they really know how to have fun.  It really is a photographer’s dream when you couple leaves everything up to you.  They trust your vision and just go with it.

 We meet up at the Highland Park Village (I have wanted to photograph there forever.)  I love the walls, tiles, fountains, etc.  I really could go on and on.  It’s such a cute shopping area.  So then we headed over to the SMU campus for a few quick shots before we headed to Downtown Dallas.  I rarely have a chance to photograph couples at night in Dallas.  I just love the nighttime city feel and the hidden gems that lie in Downtown Dallas. 

Also I had to share the sweetest email I received from Kristen after she saw her pictures (this email totally made my day.)

“I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE them!!!!  You did such a great job – I can’t get over how great they look!!  Thank you so much!!  You truly have a gift and I am so glad that you are sharing it with us during this special time during our lives!!”

Thank you Kristen for the sweetest email and I’m so happy to spend your wedding day with you and Travis.  They are getting married this Saturday at Aston Gardens in Denton so stay tuned  for a sneak peak of their wedding pictures on Monday.
