Mike and Cari’s wedding is coming up this Saturday and super excited!!! They are adorable and they have so much fun together. They wanted to recreate their first date (in a way) for their engagement photos and I loved the idea!!! I mean isn’t that seriously the best!!! I love as a wedding photographer when couples want photos that really mean something to them. How awesome is it to have pictures taken at the places where your love story began.
We started off at Mudsmith for some much needed coffee and ended their session at the Dallas Truckyard. I had been wanting to take engagement photos at the Truckyard for some time. I’m so glad they have such a personal meaning to Mike and Cari too.
The shot above is probably my favorite and one I envisioned in my head from the moment Cari told me she wanted to take photos at the Truckyard. I had to use those tires as a way to frame them.
I can not wait to see you both say “I do” on Saturday!! I hope you are getting rest this week and you both will be married in a few short days!!!
