I met up with Lindsey and JR on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Denton for their engagement session. Lindsey is a graduate of UNT, well I think everyone in her family is and Denton is really special to them. We wanted to go all around the square taking photos of them and their dogs. We started at the Denton Opera House because I mean who doesn’t love that place. I know I spent many a days there when I was in college. It really is a special bookstore and I just can’t get enough of taking photos with books. Lindsey is also an English teacher it was very fitting for her.

After taking the dogs for a little walk around the square, we hit up the record store for some really fun and cute pictures.

I mean how fun are these two!!! They are so stinking adorable!!!

We found this Elvis record and had to use in a photo since the title of the album is Loving You, so fitting for engagement photos!!

JR is huge into comic books so this store was next on our journey. I mean we really did hit up a lot of spots on the Denton Square.

Of course the courthouse is a must.

We then used their family’s vintage truck for a few photos as the sun was setting. It made for the most beautiful light.

We ended with some night shots using JR’s car.

Of course ended with a silhouette.

I can’t wait for these two to get married, especially since I have photographed Lindsey’s family since her sister Chelsea’s wedding back in 2011. So I am so over the moon happy it is now Lindsey’s turn!!!
