Britton and Brandi were married at First United Methodist Church in Lubbock last Saturday.  It was important to Brandi to get married here because that is where everyone in her family has wed.  Super meaningful, right They then had a super fun wedding reception at the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts.  I love the color combo she chose, yellow and blue kinda in the shade of a darker sky blue color. I loved it!!!!

Britton and Brandi met while freshman at Texas Tech and they have been inseparable ever since, they are each other’s best friends and now husband and wife.  I think everyone is the room was tearing up as their friends talked about them and the journey their relationship has taken over the years. I was hiding my tears behind the camera. Yep speeches always make me cry.

I love this image because Brandi wouldn’t let go of her Rice Krispi treat while getting her dress one.

Britton had this sewn into his jacket so when he buttoned his jacket up, Brandi and their wedding date would be over his heart, ok girls aren’t you ooohing and awwwing right now

Britton and Brandi put together the best video that was played right before they were announced into their wedding reception. I love capturing the reactions to the video.

This heart sculpture/statue was in front of Brandi and Britton’s wedding reception venue, the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts.  I find it strange but oddly I kinda like it so I wanted to take pictures of Britton and Brandi with it.  I know some might be creeped out by the eyes and yeah I agree but again I thought it was kinda cool.

And then they danced the night away

Brandi’s mom went up to karaoke with and I loved Brandi going up and recording it to her i-phone.

Seng and Ana had the most fun wedding. I don’t even know where to begin.  The guys were greeted at the door of the bride’s house by Ana’s bridesmaids.  They were then made to do all sorts of challenges before Seng could claim Ana as his bride.  I couldn’t stop laughing while taking pictures.

The bridesmaids really gave Seng a hard time and before they let him in the house.

Ana had a friend record everything so she could watch from the bedroom.  It was a must see to watch the guys dance to N’Sync or Backstreet Boys (sorry I can’t remember which).

They then had to eat all sorts of different foods like wasbi and lemons.

Then all the girls lined up and Seng, who was blindfolded, had to feel their hands and guess whose hand was Ana’s.  He guessed wrong, as they had a little boy there who had his nails manicured.  It was priceless when he took off the blindfold to see if he got it right.

The games came to an end and the tea ceremony began.  I just love the tradition of the tea ceremony and how meaningful it is.

Then Ana changed into her white dress and we did a first look with her and Seng.  She took his breath away.

Then off to the C.R.Smith museum for more pictures and of course Seng and Ana’s wedding and reception.

I love capturing memories like this.  Ana is sooo happy as she walks down the aisle to meet her husband to be.  This is why I love being a wedding photographer

Ana made all the number cloud centerpieces and paper airplanes.  She did an amazing job with these diy details.

First dances always make my heart melt, they are so romantic.

Kevin and Connie tied the knot this past Saturday at Mart Immaculate Church in Farmer’s Branch.  This is the church that Connie grew up so it was extra special to her and her family.   I feel that makes the wedding that much more special too.   After the ceremony we all headed over to Marc Events where they could party the night away and boy did they

Connie’s bridesmaids were her 3 sisters; you can tell how much her family means to her when you see them interacting together.  They kept running over and looking at Connie while she was getting her make-up done and gushing how beautiful she is.

Several of my latest posts haven’t been related to weddings which I felt has been a good to insert some different types of photography into our blog.  But now its time to get back to showing weddings and couples in love  John and Trudy tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Tower Club in Dallas back in November.  It was mostly family that attended and lot of grandchildren who cracked me up.  One actually kept count of how many times I took his picture and told Trudy actually told me he counted 219 pictures.  The funny thing is I don’t doubt it.  He was a ham  I loved all the bright, fun colors in the flowers; Pamm of Bridal Blooms and Creations did a fabulous job.   And Trudy had one of my favorite planners, Shari Johns of As You Wish, she is truly one of the best wedding planners in Dallas and makes this wedding photographers job super easy  So enjoy these sweet, fun pictures

John and Trudy had a first look which allowed us to get almost all of the family pictures done before the ceremony so they had more time to spend with their friends and family.

I just love how when they look at each other, their eyes light up.

This is hands down my favorite moment from John and Trudy’s wedding. Right before John said “I do” he looked at all of his friends and family and gave a thumbs up.  This moment made it into our favorite special moments blog (go here to see).

On Saturday Stacy and Courtney were married at St. Ann’s Catholic Parish in front of their closest family and friends.  You could see how happy everyone was for them during the ceremony.  After we finished pictures, everyone headed over to the Hilton DFW Lakes for the reception where they danced the night away.

I love these flip flops that Courtney sported, they are sooo cute!!!

We were doing a few pictures outside the church before guests started to arrive and I ran inside to grab Courtney’s bouquet.  The rosary caught my attention because of how pretty it was. Sso when I handed it to her, I made sure it was visible.  Courtney’s emotions overwhelmed her and she started tearing up and crying.  Her grandfather had passed away and that was his rosary.

Karey was with the guys and I love these shots she got.  Oh and Courtney I heard that he was super nervous too and couldn’t sit still

LOVE!!!!!!

I’m just in love with St. Ann’s Catholic Parish.  Not only is it a gorgeous church but everyone from the volunteers to the Priest treated you like family.

One of my favorite moments at the reception has to be the first dance as husband and wife.

I had no doubt Stacy would be one to tear up the dance floor, and he sure did.

Stacy and Courtney are living it up in Jamaica right now, I’m beyond jealous!  I hope you both enjoy your honeymoon and I hope you enjoy the sneak peak of your wedding photos, it was such an honor to be your wedding photographer and capture these special moments for you
