So Courtney is now a wife (wedding pics in the previous post) so I get to share her bridal session with you.  These were taken last month and we had beautiful weather.  The old adage for our crazy Texas weather is, “if you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes, it’ll change,” is so true.  The week leading up to Courtney’s bridal session was cold and rainy.  She had her heart set on doing her bridals at the Mandalay Canals but didn’t want to freeze.  So the day of the session, I woke up to see the sun out  Everything feel into place, beautiful location, amazing light, warm weather and Courtney who looked beyond stunning!!!

I’m in love with the lighting in this one, just gorgeous!!

I love it when the bride’s mom comes to the bridal session and I love getting a picture of the two of them. I put them to work and they become the photo stylists and help with the train and making sure its perfect, any make-up touch ups, fixing any stray hairs, etc.  Thanks Susan for all your help

Blogging has not been my strongest suit as of late and shame on me for that.  I have a whole slew of bridal, engagement, family sessions to blog for the last six (yes six) months.  Luckily I only have one wedding we photographed from 2011 I still have to blog and I promise to blog it next week.  It’s been on my to do list for a couple of months now, yep that long.

Ok well back to Mandi’s bridal session.  We met up in September at TCU in Fort Worth for her bridals.  Mandi is an alumni of TCU and cheered for them so it meant a lot to Mandi to be able to take her bridal portraits there.  I had never photographed at TCU before so this was so fun and I kept hopping from place to place.  Yes us wedding photographers get super giddy with new locations  After we exhausted, yep exhausted, all the spots at TCU we went over to Sundance Square for some fun, night shots.  Haha and Mandi received lots of proposals from the guys we passed.

I’m so giddy that I get to show off Anna’s bridal session.  She married her soul-mate Richard on Saturday at the Watermark Community Church (those pics will be posted tomorrow).  I just love how simple yet very elegant Anna’s dress is and those that know her can agree, it fits her to a T.   I also love her veil. This is something so classic and beautiful about a cathedral length veil.  Plus it makes for some really fun and amazing pictures.

Nathan and Laura were married last night so I get to show off Laura’s oh so pretty bridal session, finally!!!!  We met at the beginning of May, and in Texas summer starts in mid-April, so it was hot.  Laura was such a trooper because as any bride knows, bridal dresses are hot to have on. We met up at Turtle Creek in Dallas, which I love, plus the light was perfect!!  Laura looked so beautiful and with the help of her mom Linda and MOH Sarah we got some breathtaking, beautiful, and of course fun pictures of Laura.
