Sarah’s Dallas Bridal Session

Sarah's bridal session taken by dallas wedding photographer, K & S Photography

I met up with Sarah after her wedding for her bridal session.  Her dress was still in alterations up until a few days before her wedding so we didn’t have a chance.  But of course with her gorgeous Maggie Sottero bridal gown, bridals were a must.

We had a great time with the bridals and just had fun with them.

The series below is are some of my favorite from the session.

We then braced the Dallas heat and took some outdoor bridals.  Mind you I believe these were taken at the very end of June so it was already super hot.  So hot in fact that we got Sarah in the swimming pool to help her cool off.  Of course we got some amazing shots of it as well.  I love when my brides trust me and just go with it (I’m sure her wedding being over at something to do with it too).  So our session turned sorta, kinda into a trash the dress session at the end.  And we think the dress actually came out cleaner when Sarah got out of the pool.  Haha go figure.

I just love our fearless brides and thanks Sarah for being such a sport in the crazy Dallas heat.

Stephanie’s Bridal Session

In honor of Stephanie’s wedding in Dallas today, I wanted to share a couple of her bridal pics.  She is absolutely stunning and it killed me that I had to wait to share these.

Elizabeth's Bridals taken at White Rock Lake in Dallas

One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is the chance to take bridals  (I think Karey would agree).  I love love love them because they are just so much fun to take.  For Elizabeth’s bridals we ran all around White Rock in Dallas (yes in some aspects she ran) taking these amazing shots.  We were really lucky to have such a gorgeous day with the most amazing blue sky with white fluffy clouds.  We honestly could not have asked for a better day.  So alas enjoy Elizabeth’s gorgeous bridal pics.

The image above is one of my favorite and Elizabeth was just being goofy while I was making her strut her stuff down our “catwalk” that I just had to include this one (especially since its one of my favs)

I have to admit the two pictures below almost didn’t happen.  We were down by the lake taking pics and this massive twig thing (not sure what you call it) was there and it actually looked quite ugly in person.  Elizabeth’s mom and I were going to walk right past it and head back up to Winfrey Point but Elizabeth wanted to take a couple of pics in front of it.  So of  course we’re like why not.  They ended up turning out to be some of my favorite.  She looks so much like a model here and so fierce (as Tyra would say).  So kudos to you Elizabeth for making us stop  :)

Ok these are the first time I’m releasing these 2 pics for anyone to see. We decided to get a little creative (which I love) because Elizabeth is an art teacher and a twin (no her twin is not in these pics) and play a bit with that concept.  So I reached inside and pulled out ideas from my art school days and here is what we came up with.  If you like, let me know.

Thanks Elizabeth for rocking your bridal session.

Stay tuned for lots more to be posted.  We have been super busy here at K & S and are about 4-5 weddings behind on blogging, and numerous other sessions and they keep coming now that wedding season in Dallas in is full swing. In other words I wanted to let our readers know the lack of posting is not because we don’t have things to post but rather the opposite there is a ton.

Elizabeth's Bridals – Sneak Peak

Elizabeth's bridal pictures taken by Dallas Wedding Photographer, K & S Photography

I met up with Elizabeth today for her bridal session and I wanted to share a sneak peak of her pics.  I’m so in love with the clouds in this pic (and no they are not photoshopped in from another picture, thats how they were).   We went all around White Rock Lake in Dallas and had a blast getting some really cool, fun shots.

I’m also sharing these because Elizabeth was actually married on Feburary 20th but we did her bridals after her wedding because of time constraints with her dress alterations.  So stay tuned for more bridals and her wedding pictures.

Thankful for 2009 and Here's to 2010

We love all the weddings we have photographed this year in Dallas and Lubbock.  So here is a photo montage of our 2009 brides and grooms.  We appreciate all of you and thank you so much for choosing K & S Photography as your wedding photographer.

Karen's Bridal Portraits

Karen walked down the aisle on Saturday so I can finally share her bridal portraits.  She is simply stunning in her dress and was really at ease.  We took her bridals at Heritage Country Club where she hosted her reception.  We played around on the golf course because Karen is an avid golfer – she received a golf scholarship out of high school.

I just love the image below. So classic.
