Austin turns 5.  We had the pleasure to be a part of Austin’s 5th birthday party hosted at Marc Events in Dallas.  This is not just any 5 years old birthday party, it’s Austin whose mom just happens to be the wonderful, and talented Shari Johns of As You Wish.  She wanted to turn Marc Events into the Batcave so she called upon the fabulous Marla Watson-Werst of PeaPod Group to make it happen.  With these two ladies joining forces, you just know the party is going to be AMAZING!!  And of course it was.

The girls of PeaPod helped the kids make their own batman masks.  You can see a Austin hard at work making his mask.  I loved arts and crafts as a kid and thought it was awesome they set up an arts and crafts table (plus it includes puffy paint and who doesn’t love that)

Ok so you put a bunch of kids together and you are bound to get a good time. So check out these amazing birthday party pictures.

Each food station on the buffet was batman themed like penguin pretzels or posion ivy punch.  It was so cute.

Ok this is such an amazing cake and I just love the cake stand.  Lauren with Fancy Cakes by Lauren really outdid herself and its was outfitted with some crazy trick candles.  Yes gotta love the candles that you can never blow out.

And what Batman Birthday is complete without a visit from Batman himself.

All of the kids were enthralled but I think Austin’s dad Bobby got the most excited (See picture above with man with batman shirt)  He was extra giddy.

Ok I’m sure the parent’s loved all this sugar but the cupcake decorating station was so cute and even Batman made a cupcake.

Of course the birthday boy had to snap a picture with Batman.  Also check out the really cool party favors that the kids were sent home with.  Each kid received their own batman belt.
