Candid Moments Captured at Dallas and Forth Worth Weddings | Dallas Texas Wedding Photographers

So here we are again, the year is winding down, the holiday season is upon us, and 2012 is almost here.  This is the time of year we love best and it certainly leads to reminiscing about the past year.  We have grown so much over this past year and have had opportunities we never could have dreamed of.  We have photographed weddings of the most beautiful, sweetest brides.  We truly love all of you and this year couldn’t been as amazing as it was without you.  We are so honored that you entrusted us to capture those special memories at your wedding.  One thing I love at weddings is capturing those special moments, some are sweet and endearing while others are goofy and fun, while others are tears of happiness.

So this year to wrap up an amazing 2011 we are sharing our favorite moments from each of our weddings.  Please let us know your favorite moment and the one with the most votes will win a 16×20 Canvas print. Voting ends January 5, 2012.

1. Josh and Meredith – Wedding at Wildwood Inn in Denton

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

Meredith was looking out the window and saw her groom to be and quickly shut the curtain closed while laughing hysterically.   She caught a glimpse of her groom but wanted to make sure he didn’t see her.

2. Jonathan and Alison – Wedding at Avanti Fountain Place in Dallas

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

This was during their first dance as husband and wife. This image is so emotional even though you can’t see their faces, her hands wrapped around him so how much they love each other.

3. Chris and Chelsea – Wedding at the Filter Building in Dallas

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

This was taken during their last dance of the night. I love the happiness that is on the verge of tears.

4. Ross and Melissa – Wedding at Ashton Gardens in Corinth

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

The Father/Daughter Dance was very sweet and emotional because Melissa’s Dad came back from Afghanistan to be at the wedding.

5. Tom and Donna – Wedding in East Texas

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

I wisked them away after the ceremony to capture some beautiful portraits of them and they got lost in each other.

6. Richard and Haley – Wedding at Chapelle Des Fleurs in Flower Mound

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

This tearful moment between Haley and her mom had me tearing up.

7. Geoff and Jaclyn – Wedding at Eldorado Country Club in McKinney

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

You can’t beat guys just being goofy, this one cracks me up.  Geoff had no idea what the groomsmen were up to.

8. Matt and Megan – Wedding at Paradise Cove in Grapevine

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

I always love it when the bride and groom laugh during the ceremony. They make the best pictures and show off how fun the couple are.

9. Julian and Robyn – Wedding at First Christian Church in Plano

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

Robyn sees her groom Julian for the first time as the doors open. She is over the moon happy to be getting married to him.

10. Philip and Amy – Wedding at the W Hotel in Dallas

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

This was taken during their first dance.  Philip is so fun and goofy that both of them laughing during their first dance is so them. I love capturing a couple’s personality like this.

11. Nathan and Laura – Wedding at Granville Arts Center in Garland

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

I love this goofy moment during the formal pictures.  Laura and her girls definitely made it fun and its one of my favorite formal shots.

12. Mike and Stephanie – Wedding at Evergreen Lake House in Colorado

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

This was during Mike and Stephanie’s first look. The overwhelmingly moment of happiness here is a Kodak moment for sure.

13. Richard and Anna – Wedding at Watermark Community Church in Dallas

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

These guys were tearing up the dance floor to the dance called Stanky Leg, it was hilarious!!

14. Brian and Rosie – Wedding at Ashton Gardens in Corinth

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

I love how sweet Brian is when he sees Rosie for the first time.  I love how classic it is to give a kiss on the hand, so romantic.

15.  Mark and Jamie – Wedding at the Dallas Arboretum

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

I love how happy these two are dancing the night away. They didn’t even know I snapped this photo.

16. Richie and Jennifer – Wedding at Canyon Creek Country Club in Richardson

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

Richie and his dad share a smile as Richie walks up to take his place at the alter.  Such a great moment as you can see how happy Richie’s dad is for him. This was right before they parted ways and Richie’s dad would lay a rose down in honor of his wife/Richie’s mom.

17. Todd and Mandi – Wedding at The Robert Carr Chapel at TCU in Fort Worth

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

Todd was supposed to hand his mother a white rose as he walked down the aisle but forgot. Mandi so nicely reminded him and his expression is classic.

18. Idean and Lexi – Wedding at The Stoneleigh Hotel in Dallas

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

Lexi’s Dad gave a speech during dinner and gushed over his daughter and Idean.  This was an extra special moment because Lexi’s Dad had a health scare a couple of years ago and almost didn’t make it.

19. John and Trudy – Wedding at the Tower Club in Dallas

Special Moments| Dallas Wedding Photographers

John gives a thumbs up right before he says “I Do” to Trudy.  This is such a great lighthearted moment during the ceremony.

It was certainly hard to choose one moment from each wedding as a favorite but there is something about each one of these that stand out.  Now its time to vote and tell us which moment is your favorite; just leave a comment with couple’s name or the number to let us know that is your favorite. Also we are donating a can of food to the North Texas Food Bank for every comment we receive on this blog post.  So comment away 🙂  But please only 1 comment/vote per person. Thanks 🙂

And of course a huge thank you (I truly can’t say this enough) to all the wonderful brides we had the chance to photograph this year.  All of you truly made 2011 the amazing, fun, over-the-top year ever.
