K & S Photography is the collaboration of Karey Doelling and Shauna Benoit, and we specialize in weddings and family portraits. Our approach to photography is photojournalistic – meaning we capture the special moments of your wedding day in an unobtrusive way. Whether it’s the flower girl stealing icing off the cake or a sweet exchange between the bride and her father, we want your memories to last through our images. Our goal is to fill your wedding photos with all the emotions of the day. We have achieved that goal when you look back at your pictures and really feel the emotions of each captured moment.

Building relationships with our brides and grooms is important to us. We treat all of our clients like family. And as your family grows, we want to be there to help you remember each passing phase with maternity, newborn, and family sessions.

Karey and Shauna received their Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography from Texas Woman’s University in 2004.  We both have over 10 years experience including freelancing for various publications, assisting commercial photographers, working in the art gallery atmosphere, and other photo-related fields.  Then in 2008, Karey and Shauna formed K & S Photography where we now focus on wedding and portrait photography.

We are members of Fearless Photographers, ISES (International Society of Event Professionals), and PPA (Professoinal Photographers of America).We have received Wedding Wire’s Bride’s Choice Award for 2010, 2011, and 2012.  Our work has been featured on numerous wedding blogs including Style Me Pretty.

We are based out of Dallas, TX but we are available for travel worldwide (we love to travel)
