I hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving and enjoyed spending time with their loved ones. Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, its time to turn the focus to Christmas, YAY!!!! It’s my favorite time of year. This year Ray and I braced Black Friday at Target for a Christmas Tree and decorations, yep that’s us the one person standing in line for 2 hours at 1am without a TV. We wanted a grown-up Christmas tree this year so we could retire our sad Charlie Brown tree from CVS that my parents bought us 5 years ago to go into our apartment. We ended up taking it to our house and have been here 4 years and this will be the first year that we have a real (well fake but you know what I mean) tree. I can’t begin to tell you how excited we are, yep we’re silly but it means something to us
We have also started buying little Christmas things to help decorate the house and get into the spirit of Christmas. Plus we will be hosting Christmas this year so we want our house to look festive when everyone comes into town. I hope you enjoy the pictures and feel free to share yours as well as I always love to be inspired

Dr. Idean and Lexi tied the knot this past Friday, on 11/11/11, at the Stoneleigh Hotel in Dallas. They truly are a couple that remind you what a wedding is all about, love and they have an abundance of it. It’s a great reminder of why I love photographing weddings, I just love capturing that emotion, that love between two people pledging to spend their lives together. Every time they looked at each other, their eyes would light up, and I was lucky enough to have the chance to photograph that.
While we were finishing up formals before the ceremony, the cake arrived. Lexi’s sister Alyssa made the cake topper and I just love the reaction Lexi has when she sees it for the first time.
LOVE this picture of Lexi, red is most certainly her color!!!!
I love all the little details that made up the table centerpieces!!! Gorgeous crystal pieces that sparkled with the candlelight.
Lexi’s uncles played their saxophones during dinner and OMG they are so talented, I honestly could have listened to them play all night.
I love capturing the reactions of the bride and groom when a speech is given talking about their love for each other. Priceless!!!
Weddings have the traditional bride & groom dance, the father/daughter dance, and the mother/son dance. Well Lexi also wanted to recognize how special her parents are and they had their own special dance. It was so sweet to watch and I cried during the whole dance, seriously!!
Congratulations Dr. Idean and Lexi!!!!! Thanks for having us as your wedding photographers, we had so much fun capturing your special day!!!
We are taking the plunge and doing a magazine ad in Dallas Brides. We need your help though. We have narrowed it down to 5 images (which was super hard to do by the way) but can’t decide which one is the most eye-catching, makes you stop and look image. So please help us decide by leaving a comment with your favorite one.
One thing we do ask is for an honest opinion and as tempting as it may be to pick the one with the person you know, we ask that you pick the image that is truly the most eye catching. We appreciate your help in advance

Todd and Mandi tied the knot this passed Saturday at Robert Carr Chapel on the TCU campus. Mandi is TCU alumni and she cheered on the TCU squad so it meant a lot to her to get married at the Robert Carr Chapel. Their wedding reception took place at T & P Station in Fort Worth, which is the most amazing space with the Art Deco feel and the tall ceilings and windows. Mandi looked gorgeous in her wedding dress and she was beaming as she walked down the aisle to marry Todd. Her dress was amazing!!!! I loved the ruching and it fit her perfectly.
I just love this image below. Todd forgot he was supposed to hand his mother the rose as they walked down the aisle. Mandi reminded him and his reaction is priceless!!!
We then went around TCU taking pictures as Mandi had schedule 2 hours for portraits after the ceremony; wedding photographers love that
Todd and Mandi’s fur baby even got to join in the picture fun, too precious
Then off to the Fort Worth Water Gardens to get more pictures of just Todd and Mandi. These two are super sweet together!!!
Mandi chose purple and a teal, bluish color to be her wedding colors and I loved how everything turned out. It is such a fun combination!! I loved how they named the tables after different things affiliated with the Rangers because Todd is a scout for the Rangers.
Damany with i-Entertainment rockin’ the party!!!! Every time we work with Damany we know its going to be a super fun, rockin’ reception.
“Beat It” by Michael Jackson starting playing and these two gentlemen performed for everyone. It was a combination of the dancing from “Beat It” and that one scene in American Wedding where they have the dance off. It was HILARIOUS to watch and had everyone cracking up.
At the end of the evening, everyone serenaded Todd and Mandi (ok more like just Mandi) and sang Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin”.
Congratulations Todd and Mandi!!!!!
Oops one more thing, I wanted to share this message I received on Facebook from Mandi, “Thanks for being a part of our big day yesterday!! You and Karey did an amazing job and we can’t wait to see all the fabulous photos!!
The guests were all very impressed by you and your work!
”
Thanks so much Mandi, that means a lot to us and we loved being your wedding photographers
Now I forbid you from getting online (except to view these pictures) so you can have an amazing honeymoon with your new husband Todd
