On Saturday Richie and Jennifer said “I Do” at Canyon Creek Country Club in Richardson (just north of Dallas), we had perfect weather for their outdoor wedding.  We had a bright blue sky, fluffy white clouds, and the perfect temp.  The ceremony took place on the green lawn in front of the Clubhouse and Jennifer was brought in on a golf-cart and then her mom and dad walked her down the aisle to marry Richie.  

I love first looks and seeing the groom smile ear to ear when he sees his bride for the first time.

Of all the moments I captured, this moment between Richie and his dad is my favorite.  You can see how proud Richie’s dad is.

Richie and Jennifer opted for a cupcake bar instead of a traditional wedding cake and can I just saw WOW!!!!  Posh Floral and Sweet Art Bakery really outdid themselves on this table. It looks beyond amazing!!!!

Even though the Rangers were playing in game 3 of the World Series that didn’t stop anyone from hitting the dance floor.

Congrats Richie and Jennifer!!!!!! You had the most gorgeous wedding and everyone had so much fun!!!!!

When Randi contacted me to do a Trash the Dress session with her and Eric I was super excited.  We planned the session on 10/10 so it would be on their 1 year wedding anniversary, so sweet right.  We had a few ideas in mind and then decided on the Texas State Fair.  Ok this got me totally stoked.  It’s like a wedding photographers dream to bring a couple in their wedding attire to the fair and get some super cool, fun shots.  And you know I’m all about the fun wedding portraits =)  I wanted to share a few sneak peeks with you.

They also brought the top of their wedding cake, and totally went for it and smashed it into teachother’s faces

If you a regular follower of our blog then you might remember that I said I was going to start taking some more pictures for me and doing more street photography.  So I found time between my weddings and sessions to go out and take some pictures in Dallas.  Its so much fun to walk around just taking pictures with no stress or set schedule.  Of course you know I love weddings and capturing couples in love but street photography is a lot fun as well.  So here is the fruit of that labor.  These were taken in Downtown Dallas and on the SMU campus.  I would love to hear your thoughts

Today is my 4 year anniversary with Ray, YAY!!!!!!!!!  It’s hard to believe we have been married for 4 years, I kinda feel like where did the time go.  Time really does fly when you’re having fun  Ray is truly amazing and I’m so blessed to have him as my husband.  I’m so lucky to have such a supportive, loving husband and partner in life.  I fall more in love with Ray everyday.

I can still remember how nervous I was standing up at the altar with you, literally my legs were shaking so bad.  I’ve never really been one to like the spotlight on me, so having 100 people staring at you can make you a bit nervous.  I remember trying to focus on one face as we faced our guests, and I couldn’t.  Yep nerves got the best of me.   But the one thing I wasn’t nervous about that day was marrying Ray, it was the best decision I EVER made.  I LOVE YOU HONEY!!!!!!!!!!

We then spent the next 2 1/2 weeks exploring Italy together and we had the best time.  I think if you can travel to a foreign county, navigate around, and not want to kill each other then you can do anything together I’m sharing a few of our snapshots from Italy with you.

Happy Anniversary Ray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mark and Jamie were married on Saturday at the Dallas Arboretum during a sunset ceremony. It couldn’t have been more perfect.   When you meet Mark and Jamie and see how they interact with one another, you can see how these two just “get” each other and how perfect they are together.

Jamie had the prettiest Maggie Sottero Dress.  All the beading and detail put into this dress was just gorgeous and very elegant.

Jamie is just glowing here.  As she was getting ready she was so giddy and excited to marry Mark.  She said I’m so lucky to have Mark!  It truly shows how in love these two are when they look at each other.

Aren’t these chalkboards the cutest!! Mark and Jamie also incorporated chalk boards into their engagement session.

Jamie’s dad gave the most heartfelt speech.  I was laughing and tearing up while I was taking pictures.  Toasts get me every time.
